Mike is our resident Elbow, Wrist and Hand Specialist, bringing over 15 years of experience in NHS musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He graduated in 2008 with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University and has spent the past seven years in a Clinical Specialist role dedicated to elbow, wrist and hand conditions.Â
With advanced skills in assessment, differential diagnosis, and rehabilitation, Mike provides clear, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient. His expertise spans specialist assessment and diagnostic clinics, post-operative rehabilitation for orthopaedic and plastic surgery patients, and hand therapy across multiple disciplines.Â
In addition to his specialist work, Mike is a Lead First Contact Practitioner, managing physiotherapy services across three GP practices. This role involves the assessment and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.Â
Mike has also expanded his expertise with MSc qualifications in Injection Therapy and advanced training with the British Association of Hand Therapy, further enhancing his ability to offer the highest standard of care.Â
His goal is simple—to provide honest, effective treatment that helps you get back to doing what you love.Â
Outside of work, you’ll find Mike on two wheels—either cycling with his family or competing in competitive racing.
