Virtual Hip Physiotherapy Appointments

Book your virtual appointment

Specialist hip and knee assessment — wherever you live.

Virtual appointments are available for people who want specialist hip and knee input, but cannot easily travel for face-to-face care.

Many people first found Fix Your Hips through the online community created during lockdown, and virtual appointments became an important way to provide structured, specialist support to people across the UK and beyond.

What a virtual appointment is

A virtual appointment is a one-to-one video consultation where we:

  • explore your symptoms in detail

  • assess movement and function

  • identify the likely diagnosis

  • clarify what is driving symptoms

  • create a structured rehabilitation plan

Virtual assessment works particularly well for hip  problems, as many key clinical patterns can be identified through symptom behaviour, movement analysis, and functional testing.

Who virtual appointments are suitable for

Virtual appointments are particularly helpful for:

  • gluteal tendinopathy

  • persistent lateral hip pain

  • hip osteoarthritis
  • hip flexor or groin-related pain

  • hip pain affecting walking or running

  • rehabilitation following flare-ups

  • return-to-sport planning

  • hip-related knee pain and movement control issues

If you have been trying to self-manage without progress or given a diagnosis you are unsure about, a virtual appointment often provides the clarity needed to move forward.

What you can expect from the session

My approach is calm, thorough and clinically structured.

You can expect:

  • a clear explanation of what is happening

  • guidance on what to modify in the short term

  • a rehabilitation plan that is realistic for your lifestyle

  • exercises selected for your presentation and stage

  • a plan for progression (so you are not guessing)
