Our Gosport Hip & Knee clinic is led by Victoria Smith, Hip & Knee Specialist Physiotherapist. Victoria has over 25 years of physiotherapy experience and works within the NHS alongside orthopaedic hip and knee surgeons.

Victoria has particular expertise in complex hip conditions and specialist rehabilitation, including FAIS, hip dysplasia, gluteal tendinopathy and gluteal cuff pathology, hip osteoarthritis, and rehabilitation following hip arthroscopy, hip replacement and gluteal cuff reconstruction. She also provides specialist assessment and rehabilitation for a wide range of knee conditions, including osteoarthritis, meniscal injury, ACL rehabilitation, patellar tendinopathy and recovery following knee surgery.

People often come to the Gosport clinic when they want a clearer understanding of the problem, symptoms have persisted despite previous treatment, imaging needs to be considered alongside the clinical findings, or they need specialist rehabilitation following injury or surgery.

Victoria’s approach combines detailed assessment with structured, evidence-based rehabilitation. Where appropriate, she can also review or arrange imaging, discuss and provide injection therapy, and facilitate onward orthopaedic referral.

Alongside her private practice, Victoria works at Band 8a specialist level within the NHS, maintaining active involvement in complex clinical pathways, surgical decision-making and specialist postoperative rehabilitation while providing specialist care privately in Gosport.

This clinic is based in a private studio space with gym equipment, which allows us to assess and rehabilitate hip and knee problems in a more functional, real-world way — particularly for active individuals and return-to-sport goals.
