Our Emsworth spinal service is provided by Mike Saegert and Kathryn Palmer, both highly experienced Specialist Physiotherapists with expertise in assessing and treating neck and back pain.
They support people with new, persistent or recurring symptoms, including more complex presentations where the cause of pain may not be immediately clear. Their approach combines detailed assessment, clear explanations and an individual treatment and rehabilitation plan, helping patients understand their symptoms and feel confident about the next steps.
Where clinically appropriate, they can also advise on imaging, injection options or onward referral as part of a considered, evidence-based approach.
Alongside their private practice, our clinicians hold Band 8 specialist roles within the NHS. Private clinic sessions are therefore delivered on selected days each week, allowing us to maintain active involvement in complex NHS pathways while offering specialist physiotherapy within Solent Specialist Physiotherapy.

Solent Specialist Physiotherapy operates from a private treatment room within this shared healthcare setting. The practice occupies the first-floor office suites directly above the ground-floor retail units. The entrance door is located on the side of the building, accessible via School Lane (opposite the Crown Inn) leading off the main High Street.
Home visits are also available across the Solent area for those who prefer to be seen at home, or where this is the most practical option.
