Our Fareham clinic is led by Mike Gillingham, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist & Hand Specialist Physiotherapist.
Mike has over 15 years of NHS musculoskeletal experience and has spent the past seven years working in a clinical specialist role focused on upper-limb conditions. He assesses and rehabilitates shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand problems, including tendon disorders, osteoarthritis, nerve-related symptoms and persistent pain affecting work, sport or everyday function. People often come to the Fareham clinic when they want a clearer diagnosis, symptoms have not improved as expected, they need specialist rehabilitation following injury or surgery, or they want help returning confidently to work, exercise or sport.
Mike’s approach combines detailed assessment, clear diagnosis and structured, evidence-based rehabilitation. He also has extensive experience in post-operative rehabilitation following orthopaedic and plastic surgery, and where appropriate can review or arrange imaging and advise on further treatment or onward orthopaedic referral.  Solent Physiotherapy
Mike has completed advanced training with the British Association of Hand Therapy, supporting his specialist work across wrist and hand conditions.
Alongside his private practice, Mike works at Band 8a specialist level within the NHS as an Upper Limb Specialist Physiotherapist, while also working as a Lead First Contact Practitioner across three GP practices. This keeps him actively involved in advanced upper-limb assessment, complex clinical pathways and specialist rehabilitation.

Parking is available in The Square for a small charge during the day and is free after 6pm. Free public car parks are also available within a short walk.

Home visits are also available across the Solent area for those who prefer to be seen at home, or where this is the most practical option.
