Where appropriate, yes. Imaging is not always necessary, but when it is clinically useful we can request and interpret imaging in the context of your symptoms and assessment findings.

Your first appointment includes a detailed assessment, movement and strength testing relevant to the foot, ankle and knee, a clear working diagnosis, and a structured plan for next steps.

If you have trainers you regularly walk or run in, or any insoles/orthotics you use, it can be very helpful to bring them along. Foot and ankle symptoms are often influenced by footwear and loading, and seeing what you wear day-to-day can help us give much more accurate advice and treatment.

We commonly assess and treat foot and ankle tendon pain, Achilles and plantar fascia-related pain, ankle instability, running-related injuries, overload symptoms, and a wide range of knee conditions including osteoarthritis, kneecap pain, tendon pain and persistent or recurring knee symptoms.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows us to assess the knee and ankle properly. Shorts are ideal, or leggings/trousers that can roll up easily. If you are coming from work, don’t worry — we will work around it.

Yes. Many of our patients simply want to walk, sleep, climb stairs, or move day-to-day without pain. The plan is always tailored to your lifestyle and goals.

Most initial appointments are 60 minutes, however if you feel you need more time, we can offer a longer 75 minute appointment. Follow ups are either 45 or 30minutes.
