Injection therapy can be helpful for selected conditions, but it is not automatically appropriate for everyone with the same diagnosis. Your specialist will consider your symptoms, examination findings, medical history, previous treatment and individual goals before recommending an injection.

Is Injection Therapy Suitable for Everyone?

An injection is not automatically recommended because a condition appears on this page. Its suitability depends on the diagnosis, the structure involved, the severity and duration of your symptoms, your medical history and the treatment you have already tried.

In some cases, rehabilitation, imaging, onward referral or another form of treatment may be more appropriate. Your specialist will explain the available options and help you make an informed decision.
