Injection therapy is not appropriate for every condition or every patient. Before arranging an appointment, one of our specialist physiotherapists will speak with you by telephone or video consultation.
This allows us to understand the problem you would like assessed, discuss any diagnosis or imaging you already have and complete an initial review of relevant medical information. We can then explain whether an injection assessment appears appropriate and which specialist is best placed to help you.
You do not need a GP referral or a confirmed diagnosis before making an enquiry. However, further assessment or imaging may sometimes be recommended before a decision about injection therapy can be made.

The appropriate specialist will contact you to discuss your symptoms, medical history, medication, previous treatment and relevant imaging.

You Will Be Matched With the Right Specialist
Injection therapy at Solent Specialist Physiotherapy is delivered by clinicians with defined expertise in particular areas of the body.
This means your suitability is considered by a physiotherapist who regularly assesses and manages the condition being treated—not by a general injection practitioner. Where appropriate, your clinician can also review or request imaging, plan rehabilitation and liaise with your GP, orthopaedic consultant or another specialist service.
